The Polish Embassy in Tbilisi, in cooperation with the European Center for Minority Issues, organized on 23 January 2014 a seminar on Polish involvement in reforms of local governments in Georgia. The target group of the meeting was comprised of representatives of ethnic minorities.
“We deeply care about the clarity of our experts’ support for this ambitious issue” – stated the Embassy’s representative, Mr J. Rohoziński at the beginning of the meeting. During the seminar, Mr Piotr Żuber, a Polish expert, presented key recommendations for Georgian authorities. The Head of Council Reforms Board, Mr Dawid Losaberidze, on the other hand, discussed the project’s most essential guidelines and the progress of works on The Council Law. A particular interest of participants was noticed during the presentation concerning Polish solutions included in the Act on national and ethnic minorities.
