Undersecretary of State Joanna Wronecka met on April 29th the OECD's Development Assistance Committee delegation, which visited Poland to carry out the first Peer Review of Polish development cooperation system.
At the meeting Deputy Minister Wronecka told her guests about the most recent Polish assistance activities directed to Syrian refugees and local communitees hosting refugees in Lebanon and Jordan. She also described Plish development cooperation initiatives in the priority countries of the "Polish Aid" programme, in particular aid granted to the Ukraine and activity in selected African countries.
The Development Assistance Committee of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (DAC OECD) groups together the world's largest development cooperation donors. DAC members include 28 states and the European Union. Poland joined the Committee in 2013.
