The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland announces recruitment of candidates for short-term observers during OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission in Ukraine (September 30, 2007).
Successful Candidates will meet the following criteria:
- be citizens of Poland;
- be permanent residents of Poland;
- be experienced in election observation;
- have an advanced knowledge of English and Russian or Ukrainian;
- be of excellent health;
- be ready to work long hours in difficult conditions;
- be good team players;
- be aged 21 or more.
All persons interested in the mission are requested to fill the attached two-part Form by noon on September 7, 2007 at the latest.
Successful candidates will be selected by a Committee appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We do not plan to hold interviews. All persons qualified to go to Ukraine will be duly informed by September 12, 2007. Every selected observer will sign a contract of commissioned work with the MFA for the duration of the mission. The expected leaving date is September 26 and date of return to Poland - October 3, 2007.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will cover travel and accommodation expenses of election observers in Ukraine, but shall not cover insurance costs. All persons qualified are requested to buy insurance policies on their own.
