On 23-24 October 2012, the Department of Development Cooperation organized consultations for development cooperation directors from the Visegrad Group countries.
The meeting was attended by Lilla Makkay and Peter Hulenyi, directors of development cooperation departments from Hungary and Slovakia respectively, and Josef Spanik, who heads the multilateral cooperation division at the Czech MFA.
The participants discussed ways of sharing common V4 transformation experience with third countries, the current EU development agenda and the EU’s development policy after 2015.
The second day of the conference was devoted to the possibility of joint projects to be implemented by V4 countries. Krzysztof Stanowski, President of the Solidarity Fund PL, gave a presentation about one of the projects addressed to Moldova. The participants agreed that joint V4 measures could work out best in that country.
