Well-educated officials with several years of HR experience, specifically in designing, implementing and evaluating training policies and managing professional development, have come to Warsaw to learn from the expertise of Polish civil servants.
The Eastern Partnership Academy of Public Administration (AAPPW) has become a flagship initiative of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, addressed to the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries. The scheme is part of development cooperation between our countries.
Ever since its first module was launched in 2011, the project has been very popular both with the participating governments and with the trainees.
With its formula tailor-made for the participants, the programme allows them to take part in real human resource management processes, to exchange experiences with their Polish colleagues and to engage in international networking. This helps the Academy’s graduates to form a network and launch multilateral cooperation at a working level.
The courses run by the Academy boost the competitiveness of EaP public administration officials who are tasked with reforming the civil service and implementing staff management processes at home.
The project is co-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland under the Polish development cooperation programme Polish Aid 2018.
